Cannabis growers and sellers are rolling in and cashing out on machine learning Regardless of scale, cannabis growers and sellers are...
Bridge Investment Group is a private real estate investment fund that serves US customers across many real estate verticals: multifamily, seniors housing, debt strategies, and others. Its specialized teams of investment professionals allow it to maintain an in-depth knowledge of local markets. Their expertise in capital markets and their human-centric approach to asset monitoring have turned it into a leading property management firm.
At the core of their asset management strategy lies the ability to integrate data from a variety of business lines. After having identified the weaknesses of their existing, disparate data systems, Bridge required assistance in developing a technical data strategy and roadmap that would allow them to unify their data workflows. Without appropriate data workflows in place, their growth and operational activities were running at a subpar performance. The goal of the update was to increase the margins of their success.
Blue Orange implemented a 2-phase audit and laid the foundation for a multiyear data roadmap. After interviewing dozens of business and technical stakeholders, we obtained a clear picture of the current data architecture. While focusing on strategy, governance, and application procurement, we designed the requirements for a centralized enterprise data platform that could still serve disparate business units. By leveraging the data lake infrastructure, our proposed data pipeline would solve the main pain-points of our client: it would allow them to capitalize on all available data, while still ensuring proper organization, governance, and visibility.
Through Blue Orange’s audit, detailing the business cases of a well-planned data strategy, and the proposed architecture, the value of the updates quickly became visible to the client. We detailed the risks, modeled cost savings, and built a detailed implementation plan. This thorough architectural roadmap gave the client certainty for future development plans. They are now able to prioritize the next steps and successfully start their data transformation journey.
