Chief Executive Officer

Josh Miramant is the Founder and CEO of Blue Orange Digital, a leading data and AI services firm backed by Oliver Wyman. With over a decade of experience, he has built Blue Orange into a 150+ person team delivering enterprise-scale projects in data engineering, analytics, and generative AI for Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, and healthcare organizations.

Josh works closely with executives and investment leaders to define strategies that harness AI and agentic systems for business impact. His focus is on helping organizations move beyond experimentation into production-ready deployments that drive measurable outcomes—from automating workflows and augmenting decision-making to accelerating portfolio company digital transformations. By aligning advanced AI capabilities with governance, scalability, and ROI, Josh ensures clients capture sustainable competitive advantage from their data and technology investments.

Previously, Josh founded and scaled two venture-backed SaaS companies, one acquired by Blackbaud and another acquired by a private equity firm. In both, he led initiatives to monetize data assets, modernize infrastructure, and unlock enterprise value—experiences he now applies to guide PE-backed portfolio companies and enterprise clients through AI-driven transformation.

Based in New York City, Josh is also an avid runner, golfer, and lifelong outdoors enthusiast, originally from Maine.

Colin brings over 12 years of experience designing and leading large-scale cloud data initiatives across both high-growth startups and global enterprises. His expertise spans end-to-end data architecture, modern data platforms, and advanced analytics, with a proven track record of building systems that scale with business needs. Most recently, Colin led the development of enterprise-grade machine learning systems for a Fortune 100 bank, where he spearheaded initiatives in model deployment, governance, and real-time data processing to support mission-critical decisioning at scale. His leadership combined technical depth with cross-functional collaboration, aligning engineering teams, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact. Earlier in his career, Colin held senior roles where he designed and implemented cloud-native data platforms, modernized legacy systems, and drove adoption of emerging technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and streaming architectures. He is especially skilled at translating complex data challenges into actionable solutions that balance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. With a passion for solving complex problems at the intersection of data engineering and machine learning, Colin continues to advise organizations on building resilient, forward-looking data ecosystems that unlock new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Dean Cirielli

VP of Engineering

Dean is a results-driven technology leader with more than 19 years of experience delivering high-impact innovation across data, cloud, and analytics ecosystems. He has built his career on driving measurable business growth through the strategic use of emerging technologies, particularly within Agile environments where speed, adaptability, and precision are critical.

Throughout his career, Dean has specialized in big data platforms, cloud architecture, and advanced analytics, consistently enabling organizations to translate complex technical capabilities into sustained competitive advantage. His leadership has guided enterprise-scale transformations, from modernizing legacy systems into unified cloud data platforms to embedding predictive and real-time analytics into operational workflows.

In recent years, Dean has expanded his focus to the AI and Agentic development space, helping enterprises adopt next-generation AI systems that go beyond traditional analytics. This includes designing and deploying custom Generative AI and agentic solutions that connect enterprise data with large language models to automate workflows, assist in strategic decision-making, and generate real-time insights at scale.

His leadership has helped deliver agentic platforms for private equity, financial services, and other data-intensive industries, transforming workflows like deal sourcing, portfolio monitoring, and operational reporting into intelligent, autonomous systems.
